Why Dermalux is such a big part of my clinic

As a corneotherapist, protecting and supporting the skin barrier is always my priority.

Unlike aggressive treatments that can overstimulate or compromise the skin, Dermalux works with the skin rather than against it, helping restore what stress, inflammation, illness, hormones and modern life gradually take away.

Dermalux can support concerns including:

  • acne and breakouts

  • rosacea and redness

  • eczema and compromised skin

  • psoriasis

  • ageing and loss of firmness

  • inflammation and sensitivity

  • dull, tired or dehydrated skin

  • wound healing and recovery

  • pain management

The power of light therapy

Dermalux uses three clinically proven wavelengths of light, each designed to support different skin concerns.

Blue light

Targets acne-causing bacteria and helps calm active breakouts and congestion.

Perfect for:

  • acne

  • oily skin

  • inflamed breakouts

  • congestion

Red light

Stimulates collagen and elastin production while supporting skin rejuvenation and healthy skin function.

Perfect for:

  • ageing skin

  • loss of firmness

  • fine lines

  • dull or tired skin

Infrared

A deeper healing light used to calm inflammation, support recovery and soothe compromised or sensitive skin.

Perfect for:

  • rosacea

  • eczema

  • psoriasis

  • sensitive skin

  • pain management

  • healing support

Gentle treatment. Powerful results.

Dermalux is completely non-invasive, painless and deeply relaxing.

Most clients describe it as a moment of calm within their treatment while the light works beneath the surface to support healthier skin function.

Whether your goal is calming inflammation, supporting recovery, improving skin resilience or achieving a brighter glow, Dermalux works progressively and gently with your skin over time.

Perfect before a big social event!

LED Phototherapy offers various benefits for the skin, making it a popular and versatile treatment for the face and body.

Here are some of the positive effects it can have on the skin:

01. Stimulates Collagen Production

Red LED light stimulates the production of collagen, a crucial protein that contributes to skin elasticity and firmness. This can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

02. Reduces Inflammation

Both red and near-infrared LED light have anti-inflammatory properties, making them effective in calming and soothing irritated skin. This is particularly beneficial for individuals with inflammatory skin conditions such as rosacea or redness.

03. Promotes Healing

Near-infrared LED light penetrates deeper into the skin, promoting faster healing and cellular regeneration. It can be helpful in reducing the recovery time after certain skin treatments or procedures.

04. Targets Acne

Blue LED light has antibacterial properties that can help kill the bacteria associated with acne. It is a non-invasive way to manage and improve acne-prone skin.

05. Enhances Skin Tone and Texture

LED Phototherapy can contribute to a more even skin tone by reducing hyperpigmentation and promoting a smoother texture.

06. Boosts Circulation

The light energy from LEDs enhances blood circulation, which can contribute to healthier skin by ensuring a better supply of oxygen and nutrients to skin cells.

07. Minimises Pore Size

The overall improvement in skin health and collagen production can contribute to reduced pore size, giving the skin a smoother appearance.

08. Provides a Non-Invasive Approach

LED Phototherapy is a non-invasive treatment with minimal side effects, making it suitable for various skin types and conditions. It’s a gentle yet effective option for those seeking skin rejuvenation without downtime.
